Fraunhofer Center for Assistive Information and Communication Solutions – AICOSDescription:
The main goal of this project is to design an improved micro-stage with better performance, resolution and working distances for the current μSmartScope. (Focus for the overall system of the MicroStage; X/Y/Z axis, and possible study and definition of an improved BOM - Bill of materials). This project will enhance the use of AICOS’ μSmartScope for different pathologies, and also, forecast better results for other projects (e.g. CLARE).
Outcome:
> Research work with paramount importance for AICOS Micron portfolio projects;
> Improved expertise and knowledge regarding linear systems and MicroStage design;
> Strengthening of AICOS’ know-how for future partnerships with clients.
