PROMESSA

PROject ManagEment Intelligent aSSistAnt

The PROMESSA project aims to investigate and develop a system capable of integrating different technological project management tools with the ability of analyzing all the available information, of predicting risks and consequences, and of creating automatic recommendations with the goal of helping project managers in their tasks and to make better decisions.

In the consortium there are 5 members: a company, Strongstep and three non-industry entities, Fraunhofer, FEUP and INESC TEC.

Promessa represents a total investment of 557.714,50 euros, corresponding to a financing rate of 72.59% by the Compete 2020 program and it is organized in 6 Activities.

Started in August 1st, 2019 and scheduled to end on August 31st, 2022, the system developed in the context of the project will provide support in project prioritization, in high-level control of projects (e.g. through performance indicators), in the optimization and recommendation of resources, in the prediction of delivery dates and in the analysis of risk and related management actions. Machine Learning techniques will be incorporated in the system, which will allow the continues evolution of the system’s intelligence, making it capable of refining its recommendations according to the new information or feedback automatically gathered from its users. The solution will be integrated and validated with three project management solutions: Project Control, SCRAIM and JIRA.
