The mission of not-for-profit research centers is the development of scientific knowledge and its application in new products or services that have an impact in society. This is usually accomplished through transferring the innovative R&D results to partner companies via, e.g., licensing contracts. As a result of the technology transfer effort, new opportunities may appear.
The objective of this thesis is to analyse the opportunities registered in the internal CRM system and to evaluate how these opportunities can influence the future development of the technology. The student will have to start by understanding the unique characteristics of those technologies and their innovation factors. Then roadmapping techniques will be compared and a study on how to incorporate the CRM opportunities in the roadmap will be created. Then the selected roadmap technique will be applied to one or more portfolio items of FhP-AICOS and a presentation of the results to the stakeholders will be done for collecting feedback and improving the roadmap.
