Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS named finalist of 'O Norte Somos Nós' Award

Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS has been shortlisted for the 'Norte Investigação' award. The initiative 'O Norte Somos Nós' is managed by CCDRN – Comissão de Coordenação e Desenvolvimento Regional do Norte, in partnership with Jornal de Notícias.

The winners will be determined through public online voting, at onortesomosnos.jn.pt, and each person can vote up to once a day, until November 24th. The winners will be known on November 30th, at 9 p.m., during a gala event in the Tramcar Museum (Museu do Carro Elétrico), in Porto.

The award aims to recognize exemplary innovations and practices in northern Portugal, in institutions funded or partly funded by ON.2 - North Portugal Regional Operational Programme, managed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

In the ‘Norte Investigação’ category, the jury looked for the region's best scientific and technological institutions, developing research projects with recognized merit.
