DIATOMIC Network session supported by AICOS and MDevNet occurs on September 20th

With the support of Fraunhofer AICOS and the MDevNet project, UPTEC – Science and Technology Park of University of Porto is hosting, on September 20th, a DIATOMIC Digital Innovation Hubs networking session that aims to accelerate innovation processes and boost activity with the help of industry experts. This is the first of several sessions that will occur in Portugal, as part of the DIATOMIC Roadshow.

 

UPTEC will be its first destination, on September 20th, in a session supported by Fraunhofer AICOS and the MDevNet network.  The event is free, but registration is required, through the following link.

DIATOMIC is a network of Digital Innovation Hubs that provides access to financing opportunities, state-of-the-art technology and business support expertise, in order to bring intelligent microelectronics solutions to life. A total of 3 million euros will be allocated for microelectronics projects, which will be distributed by sectors as Health, Agrofood or Industry 4.0.

DIATOMIC’s vision is to establish a sustainable ecosystem to facilitate digital innovation hub in the field of microelectronics and smart systems integration applied to health, agriculture, and industry.

DIATOMIC is a three year project funded by Horizon 2020. It is an initiative of Smart Anything Everywhere (SAE) and brings together research and technological development centres (Fraunhofer IPA, Instituto Pedro Nunes and BioSense), competence centres (INTRASOFT Intl, Libellium and Synelixis), innovation consultancy (InoSens), SME community (F6S) and investors (FastTrack).
