aiceblock™: Responsible AI made simple and aligned with the AI Act

09.06.2026

The aiceblock™ platform was launched last May, addressing the challenges faced by organisations in the development and deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. With a strong focus on establishing effective governance, the solution ensures compliance of AI systems with the European Regulation (AI Act) and international best practices, enhancing security and reducing the risks associated with the adoption of this technology.

aiceblock™ was developed through a partnership between Imprensa Nacional-Casa da Moeda (INCM), the law firm Vieira de Almeida & Associados (VdA), and Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS.

A 360º solution for AI governance and compliance

The solution is designed for all organisations—both public and private—that develop or use AI systems to deliver services to their customers or support internal processes. It enables end-to-end oversight of the AI system lifecycle, from risk classification under the AI Act to monitoring and auditing.

It integrates features such as automated risk classification and identification of applicable obligations under the AI Act, compliance documentation management, and the export of auditable reports. These capabilities support the responsible deployment of AI solutions, reduce risks, and strengthen trust among users.

Available free of charge

Originating in Portugal, aiceblock™ aims to contribute to strengthening European digital sovereignty in a strategic area such as AI governance and compliance.

The first version of aiceblock™ is available - https://aiceblock.eu/pt-PT/ - from today until the end of July, free of charge, for all organisations interested in testing it.
