Being an industrial worker is a demanding job which might impact workers’ physical and mental health, but collecting these data is currently very difficult. OPERATOR is a personal kit to assess wellbeing at work designed with and for industrial shopfloor operators. The design used inclusive design principles and sought to give workers visibility over their own health at work. Different devices assess environmental risk, ergonomic risk and self-perceived wellbeing. Through a mobile application, each worker using the kit can privately see their own data collected by these devices.
The design developed for the OPERATOR project has been recognized as winner of the DNA Paris Design Awards 2024, in the category of Product Design / Design for people, has won a Bronze prize at the IDA Design Awards 2024, in the category of Conceptual Products / Industrial, is a winner of the European Product Design Award 2024, in the category of Conceptual / Industrial Product Design, and has been awarded the Iron A' Design Award 2025 in Advanced Design and Design Research Category.

People with disabilities often face challenges with video gaming due to inflexible controllers, resulting in less enjoyable experiences. Similarly, e-sports players struggle to reach the peak of their performance with standard controllers that lack necessary customizations for competitive gaming. Inspired by these challenges, the Redefine project set out to develop a truly inclusive game controller. This innovative device features extensive customization options, enabling players to swap and reposition buttons. It also features rotational capabilities and supports single-hand gaming.
The design developed for the Redefine project has been recognized as winner of the DNA Paris Design Awards 2024, in the category of Product Design / Design for people, and has won a Silver prize at the IDA Design Awards 2024, in Conceptual Products / Toys & Games, and has been awarded the Iron A' Design Award 2025 in Advanced Design and Design Research Category.
