DigiHealthPT is a Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) dedicated to accelerating the digital transformation of healthcare in Portugal and Europe, with a focus on smart technologies like AI, Cybersecurity, and IoT applied to digital health solutions.
The hub, coordinated by Health Cluster Portugal, and formed by Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS and five other partners, supports startups, SMEs, and public organizations in adopting and developing digital solutions, while empowering citizens and healthcare professionals through enhanced digital and health literacy. Its goals include providing cost-effective access to experimentation, specialized training, investment support, and ecosystem-building activities.
The project’s expected impact consists of reducing barriers to innovation, fostering collaboration and knowledge transfer, strengthening AICOS' market position, and ultimately contributing to a more efficient, inclusive, and patient-centred healthcare system in Portugal and beyond.
