Submissions open for the Data Scientist Specialized in Data Analytics Training Course



The last two years have come to prove that digitalization is the future. The fast-developing pace of Artificial Intelligence, now exceeding the human capability to perform different tasks, makes it even more true for many sectors in society.

Analysing big amounts of data - collected inside and outside organizations - is a valuable resource as it gives information on how to make the industrial process more efficient, flexible, and reliable. By facilitating the operational and strategic decision making, the industry becomes more resilient and prepared for the future.

The Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS (FhP-AICOS) research centre is joining forces with the Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems (IAIS) to bring a new training course focused on Data Analysis. The new training relies on FhP-AICOS’ expertise in Intelligent Systems, with knowledge in areas such as Signal and Image Processing, and Machine Learning, nuclear to the development of systems capable of perceive, analyse, learn, and support decision making.

The training will happen in a remote environment throughout 4 days - in Portuguese - with the following programme:

The participants, more specifically Data Managers and Data Analysts, will benefit from excellent training conditions from an Institute with years of practical experience and independent research.

The Data Analytics training course will present an overview of the techniques and tools used to create Machine Learning-based algorithms, through a practical approach based on implementation exercises and tests. Furthermore, participants will have access to a group of researchers for full support when the need for clarification arises.
